2014 : Day 21

I can’t choose a starting picture for the day. I have many to choose from and yet I suppose that it’s because I would rather go with the flow of the stream of consciousness and let the topic flow, the narrative of the piece formulate naturally.

Much like all else, we wade in it on auto pilot for much of our conscious lives. We know the tasks and learn them better. We have to interject stimuli in odds that we can bypass banality.  Step off into a realm of your better understanding and awareness.

You are a cultivator, creator, and  brainstorm your idea farm…let the deluge reawaken old spirits and new wonder. You are the ability to reflect to non reflection.

I just forgot my new, ice cold bottle of Code Red when changing busses. Not cool. I was teased. Ha ha ha.

2014 : Day 6

image

Transhumanism is never easy. It hasn’t been thus far, and will only get tougher as we get ever closer to shedding more of our skin and humanity for the pursuit of greatness and connectivity. Many have suggested that by 2030, 2050, or even 2070; that humanity will reached a singularity point in our evolution and technology where we will ‘improve’ ourselves with bioware, cyberware, and nanotechnology to become faster, stonger, hardier, and of course…more intelligent.  We will also presumably have the technology to allow us to prolong our lives indefinitely through various formats.
We will cheat death and mother nature’s design for these frail sacks of flesh and bone.

As a reader, I have always been fascinated with the science fiction in this vein. As a fiction writer, it has also become one of my chosen rotes. I love the cyberpunk brand of mythology and fiction.

Sadly, I’ve run out of time for now; but will probably post a continuation later today or tonight.

Life, The Universe, and everything else…

image

We are all connected by energy. We are the consciousness of energy.

image

As above, so below. The Universe is our heart, our home, and our consciousness. It gives us all that we are, our blueprint of life:
CHNOPS
Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorus, and Sodium.

image

It feeds us and is sustained by us in return. We are the black holes of life on this little blue marble in the vastness of Space/Time.

image

We are everything that is, was, and ever will be. We are limitless in a limited scope. We are limited in a limitless cosmos. We are collectively connected.

image

When was the last time you tried six impossible things before breakfast?
When was the last time you tried anything impossible at all?
Even the word says I’m Possible. Nothing is impossible, merely improbable. However, even improbabilities, regardless of the odds; can still happen. Nothing is stopping you or holding you back, save for the limits you place upon yourself.

image

The only thing that is truly divine is the chance to make a difference. This opportunity happens more often than we perceive, and most definitely more often than we choose to take advantage of. Every choice we make affects those around us, those we come into contact with…even total strangers that we may never end up knowing.

image

Choice were made for you long before your birth and will be made for your descendants both before and after you have moved on to the next stage in your evolutionary consciousness. You have made choices you weren’t cognizant of and will make more that you don’t understand because the time isn’t right for you to understand them…yet.

Take care in your life, take care with your thoughts. Take care with your wishes, dreams, and decisions. They aren’t just yours and they don’t just affect you. Think for yourself and Question Everything. Question Authority.

We are all here for a purpose to fulfill. While you might think you know what your purpose is, you might just be wrong. You must always keep your mind open,
Ready to feed,
Ready to give back in return,
Ready to tackle any improbability and turn it into possibility.

Random Thoughts 1144111912

Whew, not enough time in the day for all of the writing and blogging and extra meh that I do on a daily basis. Been busy busy busy with work for Fallen Comics ( quick shout out to Robbie and Mike, hoping that Mike gets better very soon), and moderating Facebook pages, promoting, applying for 9-5 jobs, taking care of my very co-dependent Bruiser dog, and battling the flu and depression. Pretty busy indeed. I have been unable to find one of my old notebooks to get all of that work posted here digitally before it is lost forever; but the search continues. I know it can’t be very many places, so it has to be safe. It just proves to be elusive and wants to be well hidden for now.

image

Walking Bruiser, we came across a very unfriendly gato. Bruiser was raised with cats and consistently thinks they all will be friendly and want to play. Most cats are, well cat sized. He is not.

Bruiser Chilling

So the cat decides that Bruiser is going to attempt to eat him, Bruiser wants to kiss and make up, cat shackles up. Swat on the nose with perfunctorily hissing and menacing appearance. Bruiser whimpers in defeat and off to the next bush to pee on. I feel for him. It isn’t easy being perceived a menace when you aren’t. It isn’t easy being stereotyped because of your breed, or appearance. Too many are oh so quick to judge, but get all pissed when they are judged in return. At least animals have the decency to let bygones be bygones and quickly move to the next order of business without remorse, regret, or any grudges.

In closing, for now; please support the arts. Show some love to the kind hard working creatives in your life or circles of life. Stop by the Fallen Comics website and even look them up on Facebook. I know this blog is a drop in the ocean of blogs in the platitudes of creative iconoclasts and trendsetters, free thinkers and boat rockers. Show some love by spreading the word. Sign up your email if you choose. ( I don’t like to spam people by sending them out by surprise. If you take the step to sign up, then I never forced you. ) But share, share, share. Don’t let a gato smack you on the nose…but if one does, walk away with humility and dignity, and move to the next enterprise with your spirit intact. 🙂 ~H.O.o.S.
